El Túnel

The bitten apple once again appears. This time at the opening of a tunnel. Mexicans are somewhat infamous for digging tunnels. To move people or drugs across the border, and in more recent news to aid in the escape of a most-wanted criminal: Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán. Guzmán famously escaped from prison on 11 July 2015 by exiting through a tunnel. It is commonly believed that this was achieved though the bribing of prison guards. Thus, in this piece you see pictured a drone overhead, suggesting that the entire operation took place under the watchful eye of the government.
