Don Julio Reposando

Most people are familiar with the famous brand of tequila, Don Julio,  and the aged, “Reposado” or “Rested” variety that comes in a brown bottle. The subtle change in spelling from “Reposado” to “Reposando” in this piece might go unnoticed by some viewers. But the change in spelling brings a change in meaning. It becomes “Don Julio, Resting,” and the old man portrayed in the piece seems to be doing just that; resting.
